Promarkers or Copics?

Morning,

Posting again! Am I a good girl or not??? Maybe you shouldn't answer that!!! Thought I would post quickly before I go and finish a birthday card for Lewis to take to his party this afternoon. It will be my birthday two weeks today and I'd like to get some promarkers or copics but can't decide what! Hoping that you all can help me make up my mind by giving me some advice and what you like best. If you don't mind that, I would really appreciate it.

Have just come across a great RAK via Debbi's blog this morning, being offered by Christine. This is what she is offering:

Great little package. All you have to do is visit the link given to her Scrap Retreat House which is gorgeous and comment on her post telling her what you like best. You have until the 16th February to enter. I would love to be going there to chillout and relax. If only! Maybe if I win the lottery, I could take some blogging pals!

What are you waiting for? Go and have a look!

Hope to be back later on tonight and if not then I'll definitely be back tomorrow with my pics fro the Strictly Come Dancing tour.

Have a great day whatever you are doing!

all the advice I can give you is that I love my promarkers - but I can't tell you which is better as I have never tried the copics. I think the promarkers are easier to get hold of though - Angel Crafts (link on my sidebar) stocks the whole range, and so does Silly Monkey Crafts. Both do bulk buy savings for filling holes in your collection too.

Hey Missus - Hope you've got your dancing shoes ready for tonight?
Like Debbi I've never tried Copics but I do own Promarkers & they are great! (You should come up & try mine out?)
I bought mine firstly from Letraset www.letraset.com & then I bought a boxed set of 10 called 'Garden Design' from Funky Kits. Quite fancy the 'Fly-Tying' set from Silly Monkey Crafts next!
Let me know if you fancy popping up to WC? Mar x

Hi Lainey, I would recommend Pro-markers they are great and a lot cheaper than Copics. I started with a couple of sets and now I've got them all :0) Mel x

Oooh lucky you, having a Birthday so close! I can't wait to get my hands on a set of Copics but sadly I have to wait until October for my birthday, unless I can talk hubby into letting me have them early!

Hi Lainy, I have promarkers, and a few copic ciaos. The promarkers have a harder nib than the copics, they are more brush like, the ink is alot wetter on them than the promarkers. In my opinion I think it is down to the user on the effects you get with them, the promarkers for me, are easier to get to grips with, and they are more affordable, although will need replacing when they run out, whereas copics have refill systems. I am sure whichever you go for you will be more than happy with. hope I have helped a little. joey.xx

Hi Lainey, I think I may be too late for the RAK but will go take a peek!

I don't have promarkers, or copics, got a free something or other yellow pen with a mag once and it melted the embossing powder!
